In a Few Years
Peanut's birthday BBQ ended two hours ago and I'm hungry already, ravenous even. I don't know what's wrong with me, my appetite seems to be insatiable these days. We're getting so old. Pretty soon I'm gonna hit the (not so) big two-o, and that scares me. How could it not? In a few years, I will be competing for a job in a saturated industry. In a few years, I will be paving my own future. In a few years, I will be the sole supporter of the family. I hate that the future is veiled and that no one ever gets a peek into it; I have so many decisions to make, I need to know! It's times like this that I wish determinism were a factual entity. I know I'm supposed to take chances because that's the only way out but this is too much. Yeah, I know right, trust me to turn a birthday celebration into another fretting fest. |

Pushing Daisies
Is it just me or have they changed the formula for Pokka Grean Tea? I hope it's just a few wonky batches, because it's one of my favourite drinks. You'd never guess what I bought today- floss! Dental floss! There's hope for me yet! I went to the dentist's the other day and was told that I had two cavities situated side by side on two of my premolars (the teeth adjacent to your two front teeth). That's the area I concentrate on brushing the most and still two teeth decayed. I raked up a total of $250, inclusive of scaling and mousse treatment, which, might I add, was a waste of money, but I didn't know better. Yeah, ouch. So, I've decided to give flossing a go. I'm not the most punctual of people though, so it's pretty much a given that I'll be skipping this time-consuming task at least three times a week. I mean, thinking "Gotta wake up now, otherwise no time to floss!" is hardly going to motivate anyone to get their ass off the bed. The opposite would be more likely. Still, what better way to start whipping your life into shape than flossing, right? Today has been a helluva day! It's been a big juggling act, and I like it! |

Work it!
I got myself an Eee PC! I feel so proud of myself! In case you think it's a desktop, which I don't think you will because not many people are less tech-savvy than I am, it's a netbook. It's plasticky black, not golden-brown/ champagne gold like I would've liked it to be, but it's definitely the best choice amongst the bunch, asthetics aside. Next up, Thailand trip! That is, if mum still gives the green light on that. I feel empowered! |

Ew.
I'm glad I'm out of ex-workplace (EW) because I've scored a better job over at PB :)! Work at EW (LOL, I love how the name sums up the place so aptly) was no doubt easy money, but some things can't be bought that easily. |
