This week's been a fulfilling one; other stuff aside, I made Regina's present and lunched at Design school with a few ELFs today. I missed their Fish & Chips so much! Am gonna see some of the old CSC gang at aqua theraphy event tomorrow :). Man, I wish I were back in TP.




This week was the first time I met my local lecturers, and I have to say that some of them are really good! I never thought it was possible for Accounting to be made interesting, but my lecturer came pretty close!

I'm kinda inspired. It takes a commendable amount of spirit and verve to go on about anything when no one looks like they give a damn. I know that for sure because quite often, my tutees' restlessness rubs off on me and I get real tempted to cut them some slack and feed them answers, which is equivalent to tutorial sin.


I don't go out of my way to inject life into my lessons; if the kids are bubbly, I'll probably be too. But if they are tepid little creatures, I leave them to remain that way. I'm not a lifeguard, I can't breathe life into people, and I'm not a life coach, so I don't waste my effort trying.

Unlike me, however, my lecturers seem to fizz with energy despite facing a inanimate audience. Doing ALPs has taught me that there's nothing worse than a dead crowd, so kudos to them on that!




I added a few resolutions to the list last night, nevermind that it's three quarters into 2009 now.


Check two requirements off NYAA
Tough. I don't even have a CCA right now. I'll get into one soon enough though.

Revise notes at least once every month
This time round, it's for real; shape up or ship out, do or die!

Raise bank balance by $y by year end, $z if I am to take up dance
Quite impossible but hey, aim for the sky, fall on the coconut tree, right?

Be more punctual: < 15 minutes late for any meet-up
