It's the birth of a new decade! Hello 2010!

2009 had been a pretty lousy year, no thanks to the recession (it affected me all right- I worried), swine flu and highly erratic weather. On a more personal note, Clifford left us and I - almost reluctantly - graduated from TP and entered SIM. Everything else was rather watered down and basically not what I wanted.

So this new year, I plan to stop being a fraidy-cat and create the change that I crave. This year's going to be evolutionary.


In the midst of the great overhaul, here are a few resolutions I'm gonna try my darnest to adhere to:


Embrace the new
The new's gonna come, and I want to focus on the silver linings no matter how dark the clouds are. I guess this is step two to being an optimist.

Forge better relationships
I'll meet up with those who mean anything to me at least once a month.

Revise schoolwork at the end of every week
I can't let myself down the way I did, that was too depressing.

Have dinner at home at least twice a week
I know momma wants me to.

Save $x at the current rate I'm working
I foresee a huge hole in my bank account- it shall be mended!

Find direction
Because I'm getting too old to be going nowhere. (I guess this isn't really a resolution but it's a task and, like resolutions, requires effort.)

Pick up from where I left off last year
And since I'm halfway through the five new skills one, I'll aim for two more.
